Pets At Houndapitt

As animal lovers we know it is hard to wave goodbye to our furry friends when coming on holiday, so we have made it possible to bring them along to Houndapitt. We welcome up to two dogs per cottage on a pre-arranged basis.

Houndapitt is perfectly located for you to enjoy a great holiday with your dog  - Sandymouth Bay is 1 mile away and welcomes dogs all year round (the only beach on this stretch of coastline to do so). The South West Coast Path is accessed from Sandymouth Bay too.

As a family-friendly destination we have to have some rules regarding dogs to make sure everyone’s holiday is a happy one. These are shown below:

• Please keep your dog/s under control and on a lead except when in the dog walking field.
• Please clean up after your dog! The back field is the best place to exercise your dog rather than the cottage garden – a cleaning charge will be made if your garden is not free from dog poo on departure day.
• Please don’t let your dog climb on furniture or come upstairs.
• Please don’t leave your dog alone in your cottage.

It is very important to us that these rules are followed as we want all our guests to enjoy their stay.
